After-Hours Telehealth Consultation

If you are worried about your exotic pet outside our usual consulting hours, Dr Jade Kingsley may be available for an after-hours veterinary phone consultation.

How it works

Email vet@jadekingsley.com with:

​

• Your name and preferred contact number

• Your pet’s species, name and age

• A brief description of what is happening

• Any relevant photographs or short videos

 

If Dr Kingsley is available, she will contact you to discuss  initial veterinary guidance and help determine whether your pet needs urgent examination.

Consultation fee

• After-hours telehealth consultations are charged at $120 per 20 minutes.

• If the consultation extends beyond 20 minutes or requires review of diagnostic results, medical records or radiographs, additional time will be charged in 20-minute increments.

• Where possible, any additional fees will be discussed with you before the review is undertaken.

This service is offered subject to Dr Kingsley’s availability and is not monitored continuously. Sending an email does not guarantee an immediate response.

Some conditions cannot be safely diagnosed or treated by telephone. You may be advised to attend a veterinary hospital for an urgent physical examination.

If your pet is collapsed, struggling to breathe, bleeding heavily, experiencing seizures or appears critically unwell, please contact your nearest 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital immediately.
